Social Media Strategist

Daisy is a passionate community advocate and social justice champion dedicated to driving meaningful change through policy, advocacy, and grassroots initiatives. With a background in Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Public Safety from Karatina University, she has spent the past four years actively engaging in projects that uplift marginalized communities, promote diversity and inclusion, and support evidence-based solutions to social challenges.

Her commitment to empowering women and girls led her to Dada STEM, where she serves as a Social Media Strategist, leveraging digital platforms to amplify the visibility of women and girls in the STEM fields. Through this role, she has contributed to initiatives like the Women in STEM Conference, the Mentor-Mentee Program, and Watoto Tucode Mashinani, impacting over 239 women and 103 children. Daisy is also a proud graduate of the STEM Dadas Program, mentored by Advocate Rachel Adhiambo Ogola.

Beyond STEM advocacy, Daisy is a driving force in community engagement and development. As a Community Projects Advocate with Brighten A Soul Foundation (BASF), she has spearheaded initiatives focused on mentorship, education, and resource mobilization for vulnerable persons. Her dedication to creating opportunities, fostering social equity, and driving long-term impact has made a lasting difference in underserved communities.

Outside her professional work, Daisy enjoys content creation as a result of her creative spirit, embracing a dynamic and all-rounded approach. With a strong foundation in policy development, program management, and humanitarian work, she continues to shape transformative initiatives that empower communities and drive meaningful change.
