The Tharaka Nithi County Women in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) Conference is an annual meeting that aims to provide a platform for school girls and young women aged 18 to 35 to engage, interact, and learn from other women who have successfully taken up STEM education and career fields. The STEM field is traditionally male-dominated, especially in developing countries such as Kenya. The conference seeks to bridge this gap.
