Maryam Wangeshi is a trained architect and award-winning sustainability advocate dedicated to bridging the gap between academic theory and practical industry application for women in STEM. As a mentor for the Dada STEM Initiative, she leverages her extensive background in the built environment, including her past tenure as a Architecture Associate at UN-Habitat ,to guide female engineering students toward leadership in technical fields. Recently nominated as a Young Achiever in Sustainability by Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Kenya, Maryam is a vocal champion for gender diversity, providing the “visible role models” and professional guidance necessary for the next generation of women to thrive in male-dominated engineering and urban innovation spaces.
