Maureen Rita Muthoni Muriuki is an Information Technology student and tech innovator dedicated to building digital solutions that address pressing social challenges. She has developed an incident response app to enhance urban emergency management and a Kenyan literature app that celebrates and preserves local literary heritage. Currently, she’s working on FinTech Connect, a blockchain-based platform aimed at reducing credit costs in Kenya, and a green living app that promotes eco-friendly practices and community engagement.

Driven by a commitment to social impact, Maureen is not only a developer but a visionary, aiming to blend technology with meaningful change. Through her work as a Rotaractor and her studies in IT, she is building the skills to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, with aspirations to work in tech diplomacy for organizations like the UN and philanthropy. Her goal is to create inclusive, impactful technology that inspires others to use tech as a force for good.
